Orders

What are the shipping costs ?

Orders for personal use :

  • Shipping costs are €1 (inc. tax) for all orders delivered in mainland France.
  • For all orders delivered to locations outside mainland France, shipping costs are calculated based on the package weight.

For professionals :

  • For orders of €80 or more (excl. tax), shipping is free for all orders delivered in mainland France.
  • For all orders delivered to locations outside mainland France, shipping costs are calculated based on the package weight.

Can I order samples ?

At the moment there is no format for Hairgum samples. However, haircare professionals who are already Hairgum clients can receive testers upon request.

How can I find out if my product is in stock ?

If you have been able to add a product to your basket, this means the product is in stock. If a product is out of stock, this will be indicated on the product information page. Because we manufacture the products ourselves, we’ll work as quickly as possible to restock in the event of a shortage.

How do I pay ?

Available payment methods are :

  • Bank card (Carte Bleue, E-CarteBleu, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and Master Card), using the secure CyberPlus payment system (an online payment tool provided by Banque Populaire)
  • PayPal (users are redirected to the PayPal site; PayPal’s standard terms and conditions apply)
  • Wire transfer – available only for business customers

Delivery & Order Tracking

What delivery methods are available ?

In mainland France for personal orders :

  • For small orders (less than 150g and no more than 3cm thick): standard post (registered letter).
  • For standard orders weighing over 500g and over 3cm thick: sent by parcel via So Colissimo. Other options are home delivery, delivery by appointment, Cityssimo, delivery to post offices or designated shops.

International for personal orders :

  • All packages are sent via Colissimo.

In mainland France for professionnals orders :

  • Packages as sent via So Colissimo.
  • Other options are home delivery, delivery by appointment, Cityssimo, delivery to post offices or designated shops.

International for professionnals orders :

  • All packages are sent via Colissimo.

How long does delivery take ?

For deliveries in France :

  • The shipping options available on our website enable delivery within 48 hours (from the time you’ve received your dispatch confirmation email).
  • Items are dispatched on the day the order is placed, or the next day.

International deliveries :

  • Packages are delivered within 3 - 8 days for all deliveries outside mainland France (delivery timeframes guaranteed by the French post office’s Colissimo Expert International service.
  • Items are dispatched on the day the order is placed, or the next day.

Can I track my order ?

Hairgum orders are sent via (So) Colissimo or by standard registered letter.
Tracking information is provided in the shipping confirmation email, which is sent out once the package has been shipped.
You can also view the order in your account if you created one before or during your order.

What information is included in the shipping confirmation email ?

  • Delivery method ((So)Colissimo or registered mail)
  • Dispatch number

Before contacting Hairgum customer service, don’t forget to check your “Spam” folder.

After Sales Service

Changed your mind about an order ?

If the product doesn’t meet your expectations, don’t worry. In accordance with Article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la Consommation), you have 14 days from the time you receive the product in which to exercise your right to cancel the order, with no obligation to specify a reason or pay any cancellation fee. However, products which have been opened or used cannot be exchanged or refunded.

If the package is damaged, a product is missing or the wrong item has been sent ?

From the time you receive the package, you have 30 days to register a complaint. To register your complaint, contact our customer service team, who will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label in the event of an error on our side. In this case, the cost of the return is covered by Hairgum.

Product Quality

Are the products tested on animals ?

Hairgum never tests any of its products on animals. We also take great care in choosing our suppliers, in order to ensure that raw materials used in our products are not animal-tested either.

Are the products made in France ?

Hairgum products are made in the Loire region of France (Luriecq) and carry the “Made in France” label
